Hi, nice to meet you!

My name is Caitlin Kelley and I live in Columbus, OH with my family. I’m a Certified Health Coach helping moms stop dieting and reframe the meaning of health so they can enjoy life, and food!, without the attached fear, guilt, and frustration. A life of dieting stressed me out, made me feel guilty, and never worked. But then I found my balance and everything changed.


In November 2019 I became fed up. Fed up with my extreme lack of confidence, constantly worrying about what others thought of my body, my not so great health, and being unhappy and uncomfortable in a body that I didn't recognize. I thought about my family and how the act of improving my health would not only benefit myself but my children and my husband as well. They deserved to have a mom and wife who would be around for a long time. And I could also help nudge them onto their own paths of living a healthy lifestyle because they deserved to live a long and healthy life, too.

It’s been almost 3 years since I took back control of my health and I've lost 70lbs and have kept it off. Do I still have my kangaroo pouch? Most definitely. And stretch marks? You bet. Will my body ever be perfect according to the rules of society? Absolutely not. But it's just right for me.

The only opinion that matters is mine and I'm feeling SO much better than I was almost 3 years ago. I have more regard for my body and my ability to face challenges and make it through them. I have an improved relationship with food and know that a bowl of ice cream isn't the end of the world.

I accept the fact that my body will most likely always be wiggly, jiggly and soft in places, and I accept the fact that I won't be motivated every single day, but what matters is  that I show up consistently. 

Most of all, I can be more present in life - like going out to dinner and not worrying about having to choose between the cheeseburger that I actually want instead of the salad that I don't want; playing more with my very active kids and being  able to keep up, and do things I wouldn't have dared to do before - like row over 1M meters in less than a year AND join a local rowing club!

You'll be able to let go of all the fear, guilt and anxiety that diet culture has ingrained into you regarding  "good" and "bad" foods, and what a "healthy" body looks like. 

As a “no diet coach” you won’t find me recommending them as I do not believe they are the healthiest, or safest, way to achieve sustainable weight loss and lasting health. So you can say “goodbye!” to cutting out food groups (yes, I’m talking about carbs!), tracking calories/macros, and feeling like exercise has to be some form of punishment for enjoying all that life has to offer. 

My approach to a balanced lifestyle uses my Better Balanced Mom Method - eating with purpose and joy, moving in ways that feel good and creating a mindset shift regarding food, body, self, and what health really means and looks like.

Using my method gave me the results you see here. Not only did I lose weight, but I’m more active with my kids, I feel stronger in my body, I’m doing activities I never thought I’d be doing, and my overall health has drastically improved.

When I’m not coaching you can find me watching tv with my husband, constantly cleaning up after our 3 kids and 3 dogs or slowly rolling out of bed at 5:15am for my morning workout.

You can also find me eating almost anything and everything with coconut, giving Target all of my money, speeding down a trail in my roller skates, and rowing crew with the wonderful masters rowers in my rowing club.
